Former Trump Insider Declares War On White House

In yet another attempt to quietly dismantle the American system of checks and balances, Attorney General William Barr issued a statement late Friday announcing that powerful Southern District Of New York Attorney Geoffrey Berman, who has taken a great deal of heat in recent months over his investigations into some of Washington D.C.'s most powerful... Mitch McConnell, Jim Jordan, Rudy Giuliani, and most notably President Trump himself (Including the case which is seeking Trump's tax returns) was stepping down.

But in a shocking response, Berman issued the following statement:

"I have not resigned, and have no intention of resigning, my position, to which I was appointed by the Judges of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. I will step down when a presidentially appointed nominee is confirmed by the Senate," Berman said. "Until then, our investigations will move forward without delay or interruption."
